Whew! I've got some catching up to do....
Easter was pretty low key this year. We didn't have a team here.
Easter was pretty low key this year. We didn't have a team here.
We dyed Easter Eggs a few days before the big day and had practice Easter Egg hunts with Ruthie and Karla. Ioana came with Daria, early on the day of Easter because she wanted to do my hair. We went to church and I forgot to put the chicken in the oven before we left. So, when we got home, we had our annual Easter Egg hunt and then ate. The golden egg was found in the trash can hidden in a deflated ball. We've had to become very tricky on how we hide it! After everyone left, I went to the park and hung out with a group of our transition kids! It was an overall good day!
May was filled with concerts and camp preparations with the Biola team! The were amazingly flexible and helped us get many things prepared for our summer ministry!
I finished up my reading classes with Petruta and my group of girls, visited Voluntari, opened the pool and celebrated Corny's birthday!
Jen and I somehow snuck in a day to go to the Therme Spa!!
We celebrated our one and only transition graduate, Angi! We started with four in the fall, but, Angi was the only one that made it to the end. The others all moved out of the country to work. I'm so proud of the woman Angi has grown into this year!
