I love Easter time! It is a time of new growth, new life and spring. It also means that the annual H2H Easter Egg Hunt is upon on and we have to find a hiding spot for the coveted "Golden" egg. For a few weeks, Jen and I had been talking about where we were going to hide it and had decided that it needed to be a really good spot! And for the second year in a row, we found a really good spot! So good, that it was almost not found....two years in a row!
The Romanian Orthodox Church always holds a midnight candle lighting service on the Eve of Easter. I had never been, so we walked up to the church that is close to our house and participated in first little bit of this service. It was really cool to see the lighting of the candles as the flame passed from candle to candle. They say that the flame comes all the way on the airplane from Jerusalem.
